Keep improving comes from love

Han Yingying, who learned from Cui Tao, a first-class master of arts and crafts in Shaanxi Province, has become proficient in various ceramic decoration techniques and complicated decorative pattern design since he learned ceramic engraving techniques in 2008, and gradually formed his own technical characteristics.

His master devoted himself to the study of antique porcelain, while Han Yingying, on the one hand, closely followed his master to keep improving, on the other hand, explored the mold transfer of all printing processes, including antique porcelain, and promoted the batch production of ceramics.

The mold original carving is different from the ordinary porcelain carving, in particular, it cannot have a right angle or a straight slope. When designing the radian, when the slope is about 130 degrees, it is not only easy to demould, but also can ensure the carving quality to the greatest extent... When it comes to the exploration process, Han Yingying, who is not good at words, opens a conversation box. "Now many young people are reluctant to engage in this work. My love of studying comes from my love for porcelain, which has become a part of life and even life," she said.

Lay a good foundation, innovate and develop

"Art comes from life and is higher than life. Without the prosperity and development of daily use porcelain and craft porcelain, there would be no vivid and high-level development of artistic porcelain." This is her understanding of work.

"I want to lay a good foundation. Only by doing a good job in basic daily use porcelain and craft porcelain can we create high-quality art porcelain." These years, in addition to studying the required action of antique pattern carving, Han Yingying has also integrated more elements, especially the elements loved by young people, into his creation, so that Yao porcelain can enter modern life. The tableware series products designed by her combine Yaozhou celadon with Shaanxi characteristic tourism catering culture, and are used by Xi'an Tongshengxiang Catering Culture Co., Ltd.

"The development from daily use porcelain to art porcelain is the development mode of traditional porcelain. It is the only way for Yaozhou porcelain to promote the development of daily use porcelain and craft porcelain with art porcelain," said Han Yingying.

Be ingenious and achieve perfection

She said that her biggest characteristic is to be honest, and to do so is to achieve perfection. "If someone asks me to make a mold, I will not care about the cost if I agree."

Engraving technology, 72 procedures, difficulty in large-scale production, low yield, low efficiency, and even the carving tools can not buy finished products... Han Yingying believes that the prosperity and development of Yao porcelain still has a long way to go.

Although in terms of personal preference, Han Yingying prefers carving and pattern design, in recent years, she has tried to participate in the whole process of ceramic production, and repeatedly studied the principles of carving and trying until the mold can restore more than 80% of the original effect.

Han Yingying combines the traditional patterns of Yaozhou Kiln with modern art aesthetics, so that Yaozhou porcelain shows a unique style and a new design concept full of vitality. She arranged the ceramic carving decoration on the mold prototype, and transformed the manual molding into mechanical molding and pressure grouting molding, which reduced the labor intensity, greatly improved the product qualification rate, improved the quality and output of Yaozhou porcelain products, and brought considerable economic benefits and broad social benefits to the company, Make Yaozhou porcelain carving, a delicate and traditional decorative art, realize a breakthrough in industrial transformation.

"As long as everyone works together, Yao porcelain production will certainly form a market segment in the future. Maybe I can't see the prosperity, but I'm happy to think of contributing to it," said Han Yingying.
