The event was hosted by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and undertaken by Capital Normal University, Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences and Beijing Education Media Center.
Wang Pan, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, said that students' mental health work is a comprehensive systematic project that runs through schools, families and all fields of society. It needs the cooperation of family, school and community to form a joint force in students' mental health work. We should pay attention to transforming the concept of "five educations simultaneously promoting mental health" into practical action, especially to play the role of physical education, pay attention to the popularity, effectiveness and interest of physical exercise, and strive to achieve "brand, school characteristics, class and class competitions, and everyone's participation", so that students can enjoy fun in physical exercise, strengthen their physique, improve their personality, and temper their will.
At the launching ceremony, students from six schools, including Jiayuan Primary School in Fengtai District, Beijing, and Yizhuang Xincheng School in the High School Affiliated to the People's Congress, performed a vivid psychodrama. The head of the Moral Education Research Center of the Beijing Institute of Educational Sciences said that campus psychodrama is a dramatic expression in form, but its essence is a group psychological counseling. Schools can make full use of its emotional comfort and healing role to provide more touching guidance, support and care for students.
After the launching ceremony, the first lecture of "Yuexin" lecture hall was opened. The lecture hall adopts the form of online and offline combination for special reports, focusing on one theme every quarter for in-depth discussion and interactive communication, including academic pressure and mental health, early identification and intervention of psychological and behavioral problems, mental health monitoring and early warning, emergency treatment of psychological crisis, collaborative education of "home school social medicine", and self care of psychological teachers.
