A few days ago, Tianjin The launching ceremony of the Hedong District Workers' Skill Competition and the 2024 Hedong District Welder's Skill Competition were successfully held in China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (Hedong District Craftsman College).

The competition was hosted by Hedong District Federation of Trade Unions and undertaken by Tianjin Power Construction. After pre selection by all units, 30 welders from 8 enterprises in Hedong District participated in the competition.

In the field of practice, the welding flowers were flying and the arc light was flashing. The contestants wore protective caps and held welding guns. They showed their unique skills. During the review, the judges reviewed the height difference of weld, width difference of weld, height difference of back side, surface forming of steel plate weld and other aspects according to the competition standards, and carefully evaluated them in combination with NDT equipment.

After intense competition, seven players including Si Mingxing won the first, second and third prizes respectively, Tianjin Power Construction, Zhongji Construction Group and China Jinmao Tianjin Company won the first, second and third prizes of the group respectively, and Tianjin Power Construction won the special contribution award.

After the evaluation, the sponsor also organized the contestants to observe the excellent works. The contestants watched and learned from each other, and learned from each other, which reflected the craftsmanship spirit of the welders.

The purpose of holding this welder skills competition is to provide a platform for welders to show their skills, exchange and learn.
