In accordance with the Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses, a motor vehicle driving license shall be obtained in accordance with the law when driving a motorcycle. Since 2020, the Ministry of Public Security has implemented measures to facilitate the people, allowing the national "one license test" for motorcycle driving licenses. The original intention is to resolve the backlog of tests and ease the "difficulty in testing" of the masses. However, this good policy has been exploited by some driving training institutions.
The reason why the pretext of "getting the book one day" is attractive is that it caters to some people's psychology of pursuing "quick success". If the relevant provisions of the Regulations on the Management of Motor Vehicle Driver Training and the Motor Vehicle Driving Training Syllabus are strictly followed, the training content that needs to be learned and practiced will be passed through once. It will take one week or two weeks for less training and one month or two months for more training. In contrast, "taking books one day" seems too "fragrant". Some training institutions have caught the trainees' "eagerness to obtain certificates" and started such "gray production" business.
There is no doubt that motorcycle driving training and assessment are related to road traffic safety. Granting driving licenses to people who have not been fully trained and whose technical skills are not up to standard, and letting them "try and make mistakes" on the road, is not only extremely irresponsible for their own life safety, but also indifferent to the life and property safety of other road traffic participants.
To put an end to similar situations, relevant departments should strengthen cooperation and further optimize and improve regulatory measures.
