A few days ago, the Hedong District Federation of Trade Unions in Tianjin organized more than 1200 first-line migrant workers and workers in new employment forms to conduct free health examinations, including those in difficult living conditions, those in "hard, dirty, and dangerous" positions.
This activity optimized the physical examination items, including more than 10 items such as liver and kidney function, chest DR, tumor markers, and added two cancer screening items for female employees. At the physical examination site, the staff lined up in order to check the information and collect blood orderly under the guidance of the staff. "Your blood pressure is a little high, so you should prepare some antihypertensive drugs every day, and do a good job in monitoring and recording......" The medical staff inquired about the physical condition of each physical examination worker in detail, gave targeted suggestions for the prevention and treatment of common diseases and frequently occurring diseases caused by special occupations, and gave tips and reminders for potential diseases.
Health examination activities enable employees to have a comprehensive understanding of their own health status, so as to realize early detection, diagnosis and treatment of diseases. In view of the large number of physical examination personnel and the organizational pressure of collective travel, the Hedong District Federation of Trade Unions arranges special personnel in the staff hospital every day to resolve possible problems as soon as possible, ensure the smooth progress of free physical examination, and ensure the implementation of the popular support project to the satisfaction of the staff.
In addition, in order to provide workers with better and richer services, the Hedong District Federation of Trade Unions also carried out the publicity of the occupational disease prevention law and free hair cutting activities on the site with the theme of "adhering to prevention first and safeguarding occupational health", attracting more than 300 outdoor workers, including delivery workers, couriers, truck drivers, security guards, sanitation workers, and online taxi drivers. Through this activity, we enhanced our knowledge about occupational disease prevention and improved our awareness of occupational disease prevention.
