Recently, two garden workers said happily in the "labor union post station" on the green road of Longgang Park, the garden greening center of Qinshui County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. Up to now, 23 "labor union post stations" have been built in the county, giving outdoor workers a "home" on the road.

Longgang Park is located in a location with inconvenient transportation and poor infrastructure. It is inconvenient for more than 30 landscaping workers working here to drink water and recharge for rest. After the establishment of the "Labor Union Posthouse" in April 2023, garden workers will have places where they can drink water when thirsty, cool when hot, warm when cold, and rest when tired. The "labor union post station" with an area of about 15 square meters is not only equipped with a reading area, an emergency rescue area and other service areas, but also equipped with air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators, tables and chairs, sofas, microwave ovens, direct drinking water, emergency medicine boxes, chargers and other facilities to provide warm services such as hot meals and water pouring for outdoor workers who come to rest at any time. The "Labor Union Posthouse" is open from 8:00 to 18:00 every day, and special personnel are responsible for daily maintenance such as sanitation. Chai Kaige, the administrator of the post station, said: "We have formulated the post station management system, duty system and other daily maintenance systems, implemented the administrator rotation management system, implemented the daily management to people, and achieved no blind spots in responsibility and refined management."

In recent years, the Qinshui County Federation of Trade Unions has continuously opened up the "last mile" to serve outdoor workers, actively carried out "cool in summer" and "warm in winter" activities, and provided free physical examination and other services for workers in new employment forms.
