"Send you a small red flower" is an activity planned by the Daqing Federation of Trade Unions on the occasion of this year's "May Day" International Labor Day for front-line workers. "This Labor Day, we want to send a small red flower to ordinary front-line workers." Xia Xia, the minister of the Publicity, Education, Sports and Sports Department of Daqing Federation of Trade Unions, told reporters that the Federation of Trade Unions presented a small red flower to 3000 front-line workers throughout the city in recognition of the workers who have contributed to the development and construction of this city.

"These five heart-shaped petals represent the ingenuity, confidence, perseverance, patience and sincerity of workers in all walks of life. Among them, there are poems written by literature lovers praising workers, calligraphy works and straw paintings created by calligraphy and art lovers, as well as hand-painted pictures of primary school students.
At the same time, Daqing City has always collected 450 volunteers throughout the city to send the small safflower and the collected prizes to teachers, environmental sanitation, traffic police, doctors and other front-line workers. In addition, the Daqing General Manager also carried out the theme activity of "Honor you with a dish from your hometown to accompany you to a happy festival", and the winners can receive a special dish with a small safflower.
Liu Li, a national model worker, a craftsman from a big country, and an oil worker from the Second Oil Production Plant of Daqing Oilfield, who had worn big red flowers on the national podium for many times, also received a small red flower presented by her colleagues. "As a worker, I am encouraged to be recognized by everyone," said Liu Li.
