Today, our team together with the comrades of Luge truck driver service team visited Luge "Kayou Bay" truck driver service station located in Demateg Lifting Machinery Institute, Changning Avenue, High tech Zone, Hefei, Anhui Province in the rain.
Entering the gate of the repair shop, there are more than 20 trucks parked in the yard. The smell of diesel is intertwined with the smell of burning after tire friction. The car body emits cold metallic luster in the rain. Several technicians are carrying tools to check and repair these steel giants.
Yang Te, the person in charge of the service station, greeted him. He showed us two signs hanging on the upper left of the gate - "Kayou District Party Branch" and "Luge Kayou Bay Driver Off line Service Post", and proudly said: "This service station is particularly popular with driver masters."
In the lounge on the first floor of the service station, there are posters on the wall that are easy to understand, such as "Ten Benefits of Joining the Association", "Introduction to the Small Programs of the Kayou Gonghui Service Platform", "Kayou Bay Service Project" and so on. Several driver masters who were resting heard that we were trade union workers, and immediately enthusiastically surrounded us. They said that the service station built by the trade union gave them a reliable and safe place to rest on the road of sports cars, and hoped that the trade union would continue to do such good deeds.
After talking with the masters for a few words, the masters gradually opened their conversation. They said that although there are more and more relatively stable opportunities to pull goods through the platform, they are still worried about the future due to fatigue of long-distance driving, irregular work and rest time, unstable income and other problems. We recorded the voices of the masters and told them that the All China Federation of Trade Unions was carrying out special work on truck driver membership services to help them solve their difficulties. At the beginning of May, we will hold the first workers' congress (expansion) meeting of Luge platform (the whole network) in Hefei. The trade union will sign a collective contract with Luge platform on behalf of truck drivers on freight revenue, transportation security, transportation safety, negotiation and coordination mechanism, and other rights and interests protection, so as to effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of truck drivers. I hope they and other drivers will pay attention to this meeting, pay attention to the labor union, and join the labor union.
After saying goodbye to the drivers, we walked out of the service station. The rain stopped. The sun covered the trucks in the yard with a golden veil. The green trees in the corner had sprouted. I think the future will always be full of sunshine as long as we all work together, thanks to the trust of the drivers in the Party and the trade union.
