Chen Hongyi, a master of arts and crafts in Nan'an City, followed his father's generation to learn how to make Buddha hats when he was a teenager. Born in 1996, although he is young, his Buddhist hat works have won many national and provincial gold, silver and bronze awards, and are exported to Taiwan and Southeast Asia. On the other side of the Taiwan Straits, Chen Hongyi made many of the Buddha hats in temples, from Longshan Temple, Zhongtai Temple, Taiwan Foguang Temple to street temples. His work "Marshal Helmet, Overlord Helmet" is also a permanent collection of Fujian Taiwan Rim Museum in China@ Nan'an Federation of Trade Unions
