The Xinjie Commercial Street in Lunan District, Tangshan City, is home to a large number of snack restaurants, as well as one of the daily work places of the takeaway industry, where a large number of takeaway riders gather on weekdays.

"When the weather gets cold, I just want to find a warm place to get some water. There is a place where there is no wind and sun to eat and have a rest," Mr. Zhao said.

At the beginning of 2022, the Tangshan Lunan District Federation of Trade Unions officially launched the construction of trade union post stations. Each post station is equipped with tables and chairs, air conditioners, water dispensers, microwave ovens, lockers, maintenance kits, emergency medicine kits, charging tools and other items, and has established special reading and rest areas, so that outdoor workers such as sanitation workers, delivery workers, and distribution workers can truly feel the care from trade union organizations.

On November 18, 2023, the plaque with the number "13020200010" was hung on the wall of the labor union post station of Youyi Sub district Office in Lunan District, and the electronic map was uploaded, marking the completion and operation of all 10 labor union post stations in Lunan District.

"We workers usually bring food to work in the morning, but it's cold at noon after work." Ms. Liu, the sanitation worker, said with a smile, "Now we have a post station, where we can heat up our meals, get a cup of boiled water, and have a rest. It's really convenient to go to work when it's time."

On the evening of November 23, Sun Mengyang, the person in charge of the post station, came to the post station to clean and prepare goods.

"The delivery staff and sanitation workers usually work long hours and hard. The post station is located in our construction building community, and they often pass by us. As the community secretary, I organized them to have a rest here, and they were also happy to come," said Sun Mengyang.

It is reported that the site selection of the labor union post station in Lunan District, Tangshan City is concentrated in places with dense population and large coverage. It mainly serves the labor groups of new employment forms, such as takeaway delivery workers, express boys, sanitation and garden workers. At present, it has achieved full coverage of 10 towns and streets, and has served about 5000 outdoor workers per month since its use.
