It has been more than a month since we arrived in Tongling, Anhui Province, and three of us started the practice of "being workers". The first stop was at the Tongguan Garden business site of Shunfeng Express.
This is a small network. The warehouse is only a dozen square meters. At 6:00 in the morning, the express boys started to send the goods. The outlet has a lounge equipped with water dispensers, microwave ovens, freezers and other facilities. The "Trade Union Communication Board" on the wall of the lounge is particularly eye-catching.
After Xiao Cao, the person in charge of the outlet, assigned the sorting task of the day, we quickly became familiar with the express coding rules and tray distribution, and learned new skills such as using the gun. Soon, trucks loaded with express packages entered the warehouse, and most of the express boys also returned to the outlets after the last batch of delivery. We put on our work clothes, picked up the guns, and began the first experience of express boys.
During many questions and consultations, we gradually became familiar with the express sorting process, and together with our buddies, we scanned the packages of a large truck into the warehouse. The outlets will send three trucks and about 1600 express mails a day. Before the next truck arrives, they need to send the sorted express, so they have no time to rest, so they will start a new round of delivery.
We started a new round of express delivery with Mr. Wang, the courier. From the high floor to the low floor, call, knock and sign for confirmation. In order to save time, Master Wang usually climbs the stairs. When the express delivery of the whole community is finished, I am already sweating heavily. But Master Wang has to deliver more than 50 express deliveries of other communities within two hours. Without enough time to rest, he hurried to the next delivery place.
Unconsciously, it was lunch time, and we ate and chatted with the warehouse keeper. The warehouse keeper is less than 30 years old and is now working hard for the management post. He told us that like him, many express boys have the idea of learning more skills and self-improvement, but they are often tired and fall asleep after a day of running around. Time and energy are not allowed, and there are not many channels for improvement. I hope the trade union can help them. At 1:30 p.m., a new batch of express packages arrived again, and we continued to fight side by side with the little boys
At the end of a day's work, we were tired and suffered from backache, deeply felt the hard work of this profession, and more clearly defined the future work direction as a trade unionist - guided by the needs of workers in new forms of employment, such as couriers, so that their labor remuneration is more secure, outdoor rest is more convenient, skills training is more diversified, and inclusive services are more considerate, Let the couriers feel the care and warmth of the union's "mother family".
