Zhao Dongxu, male, born in 1991, is a welder and senior technician of the Bridge Branch of China Railway Shanqiao Group. Won the first prize in the National Welding Competition in Qinhuangdao in 2021, and is the annual figure of "Harbor City Craftsman" in Qinhuangdao.

After graduating from Shanhaiguan Railway Technician College in July 2008, Zhao Dongxu came to the Bridge Branch of China Railway Shanqiao Group. After hard study and hard study, he became a regular employee of the group company with a good score in the 2011 formal exam, and was rated as a welding technician with a good score in the 2014 welding technician exam. In 2014, Zhao Dongxu, who has grown into an electric welding technician, was dispatched by the group company to participate in the welding work of the Iraqi super large bridge assisted by China. At that time, the average temperature in Iraq was about 50 degrees Celsius, and the environment was very difficult. Zhao Dongxu and his colleagues overcame the unfavorable factors and completed the welding work, meeting the construction period of steel tower embedded parts. In 2015, the company undertook the New Zealand Bridge. Due to the particularity of steel, the bridge is difficult to weld and has high quality requirements. Almost all welds must be subject to nondestructive testing. He effectively solved the problem of welding cold cracks of New Zealand Bridge by adopting smaller welding current specifications, strictly controlling the interlayer temperature and post welding hydrogen elimination treatment. He has made continuous breakthroughs in welding technology, and won the first place in the national welding competition in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province in 2021.
