"I don't have anyone else, but I am skilled." In the manufacturing department of Shenzhen Feiyada Precision Technology Co., Ltd., Liu Zhonghua, a senior clock maintenance technician, is the "oil burner" with a unique movement.

In 1990, at the age of 19, Liu Zhonghua came to Shenzhen and became an industrial worker in the watch industry. Out of his dedication to the technology of clocks and watches, he constantly honed his skills and accumulated experience. From the initial conventional watch assembly and debugging to the complicated version such as the tourbillon, Liu Zhonghua gradually grew into a technical expert.

In 2003, his company undertook the task of developing the aerospace watch for China's manned aerospace project. Liu Zhonghua undertook the key work of the movement transformation, assembly and adjustment of the aerospace watch, especially the use of special lubricants. He also completed the "oil lighting" work of the aerospace watch by virtue of his superb skills. From "Shenzhou Five" to "Shenzhou Thirteen", Liu Zhonghua has made great efforts behind the successful flight of aerospace watches. Over the past 20 years, he has participated in the successful delivery of 18 batches of aerospace watches.

In 2016, Liu Zhonghua was awarded the title of "Top 100 Craftsman" by the Shenzhen Federation of Trade Unions, and received special government subsidies from the State Council; In 2017, he was praised as "Shenzhen Model Worker"... This year, Liu Zhonghua won the National Labor Medal.

"In my eyes, the movement of a watch is alive. It is activated from a standstill and makes a ticking sound, just like a human heart beating." Liu Zhonghua said that the times are changing, but the craftsman spirit cannot change. He will pass on technology to more craftsmen and contribute to the domestic watch and aerospace industry.
