The ninth episode of the documentary "South Guangdong Craftsman" focuses on Rao Baolian and Li Shuying, two non hereditary female craftsmen. Rao Baolian has been engaged in paper-cut for 29 years, and has learned from Chen Yongcai, a national master of "intangible cultural heritage" paper-cut technology. The copper chisel paper-cut works created by Rao Baolian demonstrate the characteristics of Foshan paper-cut, which is bright, quiet, elegant, rigorous and neat; Li Shuying, who has passed the age of seventy, still insists on inheriting the technology of Chaozhou embroidery, and interprets her craftsmanship with works with fingertip temperature. They cut it skillfully, releasing their nostalgia in the copper foil of "a thousand moments of constant cutting"; A simple hand flying needle, cut the needle up and down, and place life on the Chaoxiu silk that "picks up the needle and threads, traces the dragon and embroiders the phoenix".
