Today, we visited Tianbao Youth Apartment and Fuguang Staff Apartment, which are called versions 1.0 and 2.0 in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone.
The young people's apartments are mainly occupied by new generation migrant workers, with nearly 5000 residents. The labor union service position is located in the sports center of the apartment. Fuguang Apartment was put into use in 2014. At present, there are more than 3000 people living in Fuguang Apartment. The sports center of the apartment is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and there is no rest day throughout the year.
What impresses people is software and service. The main reason why these two apartments attract me is the significance of their existence and the role they play.
There are many enterprises and employees in the bonded area. More than 110 of the world's top 500 enterprises have invested in more than 200 projects here. In addition to the self built dormitories of enterprises, living in employee apartments is a win-win choice for both enterprises and employees: enterprises sign contracts with apartments to pay accommodation fees, organize employees to live together, and uniformly arrange shuttle buses; The staff only need to bear the cost of water and electricity, and can also go in and out with the workmates and take care of each other. The employees who live in these two apartments are young and not highly educated, but they are curious and eager to be recognized by others and the society. During the visit, some employees reported that life difficulties were easy to overcome, and psychological loneliness was the most challenging.
How to solve the spiritual and cultural needs of thousands of employees beyond "two points and one line"? The colleagues of the trade union explored the two good ways of error peak service and employee volunteer service, which made me feel a kind of wisdom and temperature of the trade union. Peak shift service is to provide services for employees beyond 8 hours, forming a good situation of "employees go to work after work, and we provide services for employees' activities". Volunteer service for employees is born on demand. Through investigation and interview, the grassroots trade union found that many employees who live in the apartment have the enthusiasm to serve others and the desire to show their talents. Therefore, in December 2013, the volunteer team "New Leaf Homeland" for employees in Youth Apartment was established. In May 2016, the volunteer team "Suzuki Homeland" was established in Fuguang Apartment. So far, there are more than 400 registered volunteers in the two apartments. They worked together with 18 trade union staff to serve all the employees. At night, busy volunteers and cheerful young workers can often be seen in two staff apartments. The concept of "self-management, self-education and self-improvement" has stimulated the autonomy of young workers, created a harmonious, healthy and upward atmosphere in the apartment, and the happiness index of workers has been rising.
Walking out of the cultural and sports center of the apartment, I made up my mind to join the volunteer team and serve and explore with them.
