Compared with today's happy life, Chen Manku's experience before the age of 26 was very rough.

Chen Manku's hometown is located in Xihaigu area in the south of Ningxia, and his family is poor. Chen Manku, who had brothers and sisters, dropped out of school at the age of 13.

"My family is poor, and I really can't help it." Despite his reluctance, Chen Manku left school and began to bear the burden of life.

For the next three years, Chen Manku helped his parents do farm work at home. At the age of 16, he followed his neighbors to work at a construction site in Beijing, earning 30 yuan a day by scraping putty. The heavy work made Chen Manku, who was still young, unbearable. At night, he felt "pain all over the floor".

After working in Beijing for a year, Chen Manku returned to Yinchuan and went to many restaurants to accumulate experience from the most basic dishes and dried fish. When he felt that he had certain ability, he began to chase his dream of boss. However, only three months later, the small restaurant that had devoted all his efforts and financial resources was closed.

Since then, Chen Manku went to other places to work, "suffered a lot, but did not earn much money.".

Chen Manku did not bow to life. After tasting, he became more and more determined to believe that "frustrations are also wealth", which honed his will and cultivated the quality of self-reliance, diligence and perseverance.

The turning point of Chen Manku's life came at the end of 2018. He heard a good news - Fujian Nanjing Labor Cooperation recruited workers in the village.

"I didn't have to think much about it. I immediately signed up." Chen Manku recalled that when his friends were suspicious, he was ready to go south to Fujian. "Now the policy is so good, what can I worry about?" he said to his peers.

On November 10, 2018, Chen Manku and more than 100 fellow villagers came to Scud (Fujian) Electronics Co., Ltd. 2000 kilometers away. The training before taking up the post has made it difficult for people with low educational level. They are used to hoes and shovels, but they are clumsy when they handle new objects with their hands. Many people want to back down.

Despite many years of working experience, Chen Manku, standing in front of the assembly line, "can't cope". However, recalling the hard work over the years, he silently warned himself: "If you want to do something, do a good job."

Chen Manku "put a lot of effort into himself". He was absorbed in his work. Even if he was free, he would not leave the production line and seize every opportunity to learn the operation process and specifications of his post. If you don't understand something, ask skilled workers for advice in time. In less than three months, his professional ability improved rapidly, from an ordinary operator to a motorized worker. At the beginning of 2019, he was awarded the title of "Excellent Employee" by the company.

In May 2019, Chen Manku became the production leader of the company's manufacturing department. Confirming equipment and materials, organizing team morning meetings, arranging tasks, non-stop line patrol, management discipline, ensuring the achievement of production goals, and line take-up summary... His busy figure can be seen everywhere in the workshop.

During the three years of working in the company, Chen Manku's biggest experience is that difficulties are not terrible. As long as you work hard to improve your ability, difficulties will be solved.

"It was a great pity to drop out of school and go home." Chen Manku said that when he became a worker, he would not give up all learning opportunities easily, "and could not leave new regrets".

Since he became a team leader, Chen Manku has made a lot of efforts in managing employees. "Compared with concentrating on technology before, he needs to learn a lot more to be a good team leader." He seized every opportunity of learning and improvement in the company, actively enrolled in production management, quality management, productivity performance improvement and other courses, and also paid attention to learning from other team leaders.

Gradually, he formed his own set of management methods: evaluate excellent employees every month and give them material rewards and spiritual encouragement in time; When encountering "emotional" employees, communicate with them patiently and appeal to reason and emotion

In January 2020, Chen Manku won the title of "Excellent Team Leader", and his team was also awarded the title of "Top Ten Teams in the Workshop".

In August 2020, Chen Manku signed up to take part in the company's education promotion class, preparing to be admitted to the adult education college.

In November 2020, Chen Manku, as a representative of migrant workers, participated in the revision meeting of some suggestions for Fujian Province to study and prepare the 14th Five Year Plan, and put forward four suggestions to better solve the employment problem of migrant workers. In December 2020, he was awarded the title of "National Excellent Migrant Workers" by the Leading Group for Migrant Workers of the State Council.
