In daily life, truck accidents happen frequently, which is related to the huge blind spot of truck. On April 24, Daxi Experimental Kindergarten held a new warning education and publicity activity of "trucks have blind spots, you and I should stay away".

This activity specially invited police comrades to drive a large truck to the open space in front of the school. Through various forms such as explanation, field investigation and personal experience, children were deeply aware of the hazards of truck blind areas and enhanced their awareness of traffic safety. At the beginning of the activity, the police comrade introduced the structural characteristics and blind area of the truck to the children in detail. Through lively and interesting explanations, the children had a preliminary understanding of the truck blind area.

Later, the police comrades divided the children who participated in the experience activities into two groups: the on board experience group and the off board experience group. The children in the on board experience group were invited by the traffic police to get on the vehicle and experience the perspective of the truck driver. The children stood in the cab and observed the surroundings through the rearview mirror and window, and found that there were many blind areas that could not be seen in the driver's sight. The children of the under car experience group stood in the blind area under the command of the traffic police and experienced the blind area of the large truck. In combination with typical cases, the police also explained to the children the traffic accidents caused by ignoring the truck blind area, so that the children deeply realized the importance of traffic safety.  

The children who were present experienced it in turn and said that the blind area of large trucks was more terrible than imagined. They would try to stay away from large trucks in the future, especially to avoid the blind area of large trucks.
