On July 15, Nanhai. com reported (Nanhai. com reporter Li Xiaomei interned with reporter Peng Jinyue) that at 17:00 on July 15, with the departure of the last roll on passenger ship "Shuangtai Baochang", Haikou Port was completely closed. The reporter learned that all ports in Haikou were closed from 17:00 that afternoon.

At 15:00 on the afternoon of the 15th, the reporter learned at Haikou Xingang Wharf that the Xingang Wharf had been completely closed that day. Director Zeng of Xingang Passenger Transport Office said that Xingang Terminal had posted a notice of suspension and sent staff to the lobby to guide passengers arriving at the port. The reporter noticed that from time to time, some passengers with luggage came to Xingang Wharf to cross the sea by boat, and the staff was broadcasting the information about the suspension.

Later, the reporter arrived at Haikou Port. According to Zhang Chenhui, manager of Haikou Port Xiuying Passenger Ferry Company, Haikou Port notified the suspension information in time. It was planned that the passengers who crossed the sea these two days would come to buy tickets today, so there were obviously more people in the hall today than usual. On the 15th, after receiving the notice of suspension from Hainan Maritime Safety Administration, Haikou Port was fully suspended after the last ro ro passenger ship "Shuangtai Baochang" left the port at 17:00 pm. At present, there are more than 10 cross sea buses stranded in Haikou Port, with more than 400 passengers.

Manager Zhang said that at present, the port side continues to broadcast relevant information repeatedly with radio to remind passengers to find a place to settle in time, and on the one hand, it also sends more personnel to be on duty in the lobby 24 hours a day to serve the passengers who stay at the port. At the same time, the port has also prepared buses to evacuate passengers in time in case of typhoon.
