According to the on-site firefighters, the collapsed elderly activity room near the river channel of Xiwei Street collapsed and fell into the river channel. If not handled in time, the collapsed debris may block the river, or even destroy the small bridge on the river.

After knowing the site conditions, the firefighters used ropes to forcibly pull the collapsed part of the dangerous house to remove it, and used fire hooks and other tools to salvage objects such as the beams of the house onto the shore. The patrol police of Luoyuan Chengguan Police Station intercepted the wood drifting on the water downstream to prevent blocking the river.

It is reported that over the years, due to the impact of typhoon days, the river channel of Xiwei Street has often been blocked, and the water level has risen. The overflowing river water has endangered the shops along the street, causing damage to houses.
