Introduction to Mudanjiang City

Mudanjiang City, located in the southeast of Heilongjiang Province, is known as "the north of the Great Wall and the south of the Yangtze River". From the beginning of Emperor Shun and Yu, it has always been the birthplace of the ancestors of the Manchu and their descendants. In 698 AD, the local regime of the Tang Dynasty - Bohai State was established, and the relics of Longquan Mansion in Shangjing still exist. The city was established in 1937 and was liberated in August 1945. Up to now, the ancient customs still exist, and the folkway is simple. There have been many national heroes and revolutionaries in the past dynasties. Mudanjiang has beautiful scenery. Jingbo Lake, a volcanic lava barrier lake unique to China and second in the world, is a national key scenic spot.
