Product introduction: WT4890 is a high-quality AB class power amplifier voice chip, which has the performance of overheating protection, unit gain stability and ultra strong noise suppression; When powered by 5V power supply, the maximum driving power is 1W (8 ohm horn, BTL load), and the total harmonic distortion noise within the audio range is less than 1% (20Hz~20KHz). The WT4890 audio power amplifier is mainly designed for demanding applications of mobile phones and other portable communication devices. It can provide 0.5W continuous average power, and can be configured with a 5V 500mA adapter. The application circuit of WT4890 is simple and only requires a small amount of external components. The output does not need to be connected with coupling capacitor or bootstrap capacitor. The MSOP8 package is adopted, and the low power consumption shutdown mode is set. It is realized by driving the shutdown pin SD (SHUTDOWN) (logic low shutdown power amplifier) with a sleep current less than 0.1uA. Therefore, it is very suitable for mobile phones and other low-voltage applications, where the minimum power consumption is a major requirement. The WT4890 enters the sleep mode by driving the shutdown pin SD (SHUTDOWN) to reduce power consumption. More importantly, the WT voice chip BUSY (also can be the IO port of the customer's MCU) can be used to control the power amplifier on and off in combination with the appropriate voice duration to eliminate the "POP" sound generated by power on, power off, playing the beginning of music and playing the end of music. WT4890 has stable unit gain, and can adjust the voltage gain by configuring the ratio of external feedback resistance to input resistance, which is convenient for application.
