The wind power icing thickness monitoring system is a device specially used to monitor the icing condition of wind turbine blades. The system adopts microwave detection technology, which can monitor the icing information in the sensitive area of the sensor based on the difference of the feedback information of the microwave signal on ice, water, air and other different substances.

The wind power icing thickness monitoring system is generally installed on the power tower. By measuring the icing condition on this sensor, the current wire icing condition near the power tower can be inferred. The system is composed of sensors, data collectors and data processing and analysis software. It can real-time and online monitor the fan blade icing, ice thickness, wind speed, direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, optical rainfall, total radiation and other parameters around the wind turbine.

The use of the wind power icing thickness monitoring system can help wind farm managers to timely grasp the operating status of wind turbines, predict possible icing conditions, and take corresponding measures to ensure the normal operation and safety of wind turbines.

FT-FDJB1 is a wind power icing thickness monitoring system launched by Windway. The system is composed of 7 icing thickness sensors JB3H (three sets of fan blades, each set of fan blades is equipped with two icing thickness sensors), micro meteorological instrument (monitoring wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, optical rainfall, total radiation and other elements), host, solar power supply system, etc.
