Chengdu Metro Line 4 is the third metro line completed and operated in Chengdu. It starts from Wansheng Station, passes through Wenjiang District, Qingyang District, Jinjiang District, Chenghua District, Longquanyi District, and ends at Xihe Station in the east; It is roughly in east-west direction.

The theme train logo graphics of Chengdu Metro Line 4 are refined based on the bus stops, lines and creative characters, implying that entrepreneurship is like a travel experience. Some people are far away, some people are near, some people get off, get on, change trains, and some people go all the way to the end.
On the basis of the first phase project, the second phase project of Chengdu Metro Line 4 extends eastward from Wannian Station to Longquan Xihe Town, and extends westward from Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Park Station to Wenjiang City, further improving the function of Metro Line 4 as the backbone line of Chengdu's east-west rail transit, which will effectively relieve the traffic pressure of Chengdu's east-west passenger corridor.
