The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a regular press conference this morning. Chen Binhua, spokesman of the Taiwan Affairs Office, presided over the press conference.

Taiwan's China Times: The mainland's national security department and other departments have issued new regulations, which allow the national security organs to inspect personal electronic devices, including mobile phones and laptops. Taiwan's tourism industry is worried that this may discourage people from traveling to the mainland. What's your comment on this?

Chen Binhua: You mentioned that these two departmental regulations are powerful measures for the national security organs to implement the strategic deployment of comprehensively governing the country according to law, and are of great significance for combating illegal and criminal activities according to law, strictly regulating fair and civilized law enforcement, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations.
