Chen Binhua: The 26th Cross Strait Economic and Trade Fair, hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the People's Government of Fujian Province, will be opened in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, on May 16. After 30 years of development, the "Maritime Trade Fair" has become a well-known comprehensive economic and trade exchange activity between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits. It has attracted tens of thousands of Taiwan enterprises and more than 30000 Taiwan businessmen, playing an important role in exploring a new way of integrated development between the two sides of the Straits and promoting smooth economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.
With the theme of "deepening cross Strait integration and building the first home", this session of the "Maritime Trade Fair" focuses on the implementation of the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Supporting Fujian to explore a new path for cross Strait integration and development and build a demonstration area for cross Strait integration and development", highlighting "promoting integration through communication, benefits and feelings", including the opening ceremony and the cross-strait exchange and sharing meeting 2024 Cross Strait Chamber of Commerce cooperation and exchange activities, Fuzhou Taiwan Association's 30th anniversary docking exchange meeting, the seventh Fuma Consultation and other activities, while supporting the establishment of cross Strait integrated development achievements release and industrial cooperation promotion area and other theme exchange platforms.
