Zhu Fenglian: The Taiwan issue is purely an internal affair of China and brooks no external interference. The relevant bills of the US Congress include Taiwan related content, seriously violate the one China principle and the provisions of the three Sino US joint communiques, and send the wrong signal to the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, which we firmly oppose. We urge the US side to fulfill its commitment not to support "Taiwan independence" through practical actions and stop arming Taiwan in any way.
It is the mainstream public opinion in Taiwan to want peace instead of war, development instead of recession, exchange instead of separation, cooperation instead of confrontation. Regardless of public opinion, the DPP authorities are willing to be the pawn of external forces to "control China with Taiwan", bringing Taiwan to a dangerous situation. Advise the DPP authorities that their attempts to "seek independence by force" and "seek independence by relying on others" are doomed to failure.
