Gaoping, Taiwan. com, May 15 - On May 15, a series of folk exchanges between compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, Shennong Yandi's hometown, "Ask Emperor Zuyan to find his roots in Gaoping", was held in Gaoping, Jincheng, Shanxi Province. Qiu Kaiming, Deputy Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Zhang Chunlin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee, Li Yufu, President of the Chinese Yanhuang Culture Research Association; Lin Zhengze, former vice-chairman and former acting chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, Li Qianlong, former secretary-general of the Chinese Kuomintang and founding chairman of the Taiwan Shennong Association, Cai Zhizhong, Taiwan's famous cartoonist, Huang Zhixian, Taiwan's senior media person, Li Huoyan, chairman of the Taiwan Shennong Association, Chen Hongqin, vice chairman of the National Taiwan Enterprise Confederation, and others attended the event. Chinese people at home and abroad worship the ancestor of China, integrate blood ties, and unite the spirit of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The event was hosted by the Chinese Yanhuang Culture Research Association, Shanxi Yanhuang Culture Research Association, and hosted by the Gaoping Yandi Culture Research Association, including Shennong Yandi worship, cross-strait youth interaction, cross-strait women's friendship, Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan enterprises' visit and negotiation, etc. In the morning of the same day, in front of the solemn and solemn tomb of Emperor Yan, the people present paid tribute to the ancestors with traditional rituals, thanked Shennong Yan for his great achievements, and prayed for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. During the event, young people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits performed on the same stage, played basketball, lived with friends, and sisters from both sides of the Taiwan Straits jointly created paper-cut calligraphy and painting, experienced intangible cultural heritage skills, and gave gifts to each other to express their feelings. Representatives of Taiwanese businesses and enterprises from Taiwan visited industrial projects on the spot, learned about development achievements, and communicated with each other for cooperation. In the close and warm interactive exchanges, compatriots on both sides of the Straits felt the brotherly affection that blood is thicker than water, jointly promoted the Chinese culture, deepened the sense of national belonging, identity and honor, and looked forward to working together to create a better future for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. On the same day, the opening ceremony of Cai Zhizhong Art Museum was also held. In Taiwan, the Shennong Yandi Temple also held a worship activity at the same time.

Gaoping City has rich historical relics of Emperor Shen Nong Yan, with a long history of sacrificial activities. It has a unique and complete cultural system of Emperor Yan, and is the hometown of Emperor Shen Nong Yan respected by compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits. Gaoping Yandi Mausoleum has also been successively designated as "Cross Strait Exchange Base", "Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Base", "Shennong Yandi Cultural Research Base" by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Chinese Federation of Overseas Chinese, and the Chinese Yanhuang Cultural Research Association. In recent years, Gaoping has continued to dig, inherit and carry forward the culture of Emperor Yan. The continuous folk exchange activities in the hometown of Emperor Yan, Shennong, compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, have become an important platform to enhance the spiritual affinity, cultural identity and exchange and cooperation of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

The day before the event, Qiu Kaiming and Zhang Chunlin had an informal discussion with Taiwan compatriots, Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwan media representatives attending the event on safeguarding, inheriting and promoting Chinese culture and strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Shanxi and Taiwan.
