Taiwan. com, April 25 (Reporter Sun Lulu, Gauss, Zhang Ling) On April 22, the 19th joint interview activity of the media across the Taiwan Straits to Hunan, "Rural Revitalization · Xiaoxiang Tea Tour", which attracted much attention and was in full swing, came to a successful end in Hunan. The joint interview by the media from both sides of the Taiwan Straits in Hunan is a brand activity of news exchange between Hunan and Taiwan. It has been held for 19 consecutive sessions, focusing on the economic, trade, cultural and social fields of Hunan and Taiwan to carry out joint interviews, which has enhanced the understanding between Hunan and Taiwan and promoted cross-strait exchanges.

In this activity, more than 20 media from both sides of the Taiwan Straits, including China News Agency, China Taiwan Net, Taiwan United Daily, visited the important tea producing areas in Hunan, such as Anhua, Yuanling, Guzhang, Baojing, to visit the tea industry in Hunan and its contribution to rural revitalization and tea exchanges.

Hunan, a land rich in natural resources and profound cultural heritage, has been famous for producing high-quality tea since ancient times.

In Anhua, the hometown of black tea in China, the joint interview team visited China Tea Anhua No. 1 Tea Factory and Baishaxi Tea Factory, deeply understood the profound history, planting technology, processing technology and market sales of Anhua black tea, personally experienced the multiple processes of hand-made tea such as tea screening, and participated in the "tea fragrance, spring charm, happy life" The launching ceremony of Baishaxi Valley Rain Tea Picking Activity is to experience the fun of tea picking.

Jietan tea in Yuanling, golden tea in Jishou, Maojian tea in Xiangxi and other tea varieties with different characteristics have been highly praised by the media. Among them, the tea garden in Quanzhou, Xiangxi covers an area of 910000 mu, with five national geographical indication protection brands, Guzhang Maojian, Xiangxi Golden Tea, Baojing Golden Tea, Yongshun Berry Tea and Guzhang Black Tea. Last year alone, the tea output reached 19800 tons, with a comprehensive output value of 9.823 billion yuan.

After hearing these figures, the members of the joint interview group said that Hunan tea has won a good reputation in the domestic and international markets by virtue of its unique natural conditions and superb tea making skills. They should spread the unique charm of Hunan tea to a wider audience through their own strokes and lenses.

"Every penny, every needle, every leaf. A small piece of tea seems very simple, but it is not easy to do it." Liu Qile, a Taiwanese youth and tourism blogger, came all the way and shared his experience of tea picking, tea frying, tea screening and tea making with reporters. He said that he was very happy to have such an opportunity to have tea with everyone, and he expected Taiwan friends to come to Hunan to enjoy a cup of tea together.

"Tea is a good medium of communication. I am very moved that tea in the Wanli Tea Road carries the function of communication and cultural dissemination," shared Wu Guanying, a senior tea artist from Taiwan, Baodao.

"Tea culture is the link between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, and tea culture on both sides of the Taiwan Straits is rooted in the same source. As a member of the mainland's tea related media, I very much hope to connect the two sides of the Taiwan Straits through tea." Wen Yuxin, a reporter from Hunan Radio and Television Tea Channel, also has deep feelings about tea culture.

   How can a leaf enrich people?

In recent years, the government of Hunan Province has vigorously supported the development of the tea industry. By implementing brand strategy, improving processing technology, expanding the market and other measures, the tea industry has become an important starting point for rural revitalization.

In the interview, many tea farmers shared with the joint interview team that by participating in the tea cooperatives, large-scale production was achieved, which not only improved the quality of tea, but also increased income. In addition, some tea farmers have also combined tea culture with rural tourism by developing the rural household entertainment and tea tourism integration project, attracting more tourists and injecting new vitality into the rural economy.

When visiting the local tea processing plant, the joint interview team also learned how modern processing technology can improve the quality of tea.

The person in charge of Xiangxi Mystery Valley Tea Industry Co., Ltd. introduced how they used scientific and technological innovation, such as the intelligent control system to accurately control the fermentation degree, so as to produce high-quality tea that more meets the market demand.

In addition to in-depth visits to the tea industry, the joint interview team of the cross-strait media also focused on Hunan's innovative measures and remarkable achievements in rural revitalization - in Aizhai Town, Jishou City, they witnessed how the local government has built poor villages into beautiful villages suitable for living and working through the development of characteristic agriculture, rural tourism and other ways; In Shibadong Village, Huayuan County, Xiangxi Prefecture, they learned how to rely on targeted poverty alleviation policies to achieve a magnificent turn from "poor mountains and bad waters" to "green waters and green mountains".

These vivid cases made the joint interview team deeply feel Hunan's determination and achievements on the road of rural revitalization. "The technological progress of tea has made it possible for the tea industry to develop indefinitely. I hope that we can better promote the tea with rich connotation, characteristics and historical charm in the mainland, make it known to everyone, and make a contribution to rural revitalization."
