Haikou, Taiwan. com, China, April 25 (Reporter Chen Jiahui) Young entrepreneurs in Taiwan have crossed the shallow straits and set foot on the fertile land of hope. They are not only participants and beneficiaries of high-quality development on the mainland, but also communicators and contributors to the integrated development of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits. They witnessed the rapid development and progress of the motherland, felt the enthusiasm and warmth of their compatriots, joined the youth on both sides of the Straits to write the most beautiful chapter of the times, and jointly contributed to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

On the 24th, the ninth "China Aerospace Day", the experience of visiting Wenchang Aerospace Supercomputing Center and Hainan International Commercial Space Launch Center in the morning made young entrepreneurs in Taiwan who participated in the salon think deeply. "The excitement has not subsided yet", said Taiwan Qingyang Jingxin, who runs an e-commerce enterprise in the mainland. He entered the rocket launch area for the first time and witnessed the booming development of China's aerospace industry. As a Chinese, he felt proud of himself. "This is a scene that cannot be seen in Taiwan, and I will always remember this day," Yang Jingxin said.

Lin Shuren, a young man from Taiwan who finished his doctorate at Peking University, made an unusual decision. He went to Daliang Mountain in Sichuan Province to try planting olive with his father and develop ecological agriculture. "Daliang Mountain has enabled me to find a broad world to realize the value of life." Lin Shuren said that his development of agricultural product planting and processing industry has brought sustainable income to local villagers and helped local compatriots pursue a better life, which made him feel a sense of accomplishment he had never had before. The local governments at all levels who have been constantly solving problems for Taiwan enterprises let him feel the warmth of "a family on both sides of the Taiwan Straits". His father often said, "It is normal to have difficulties in development, but with good policies from the mainland and government support, we have more confidence to face difficulties".

"In addition to realizing their own life values, Taiwanese youth should shoulder the historical mission of starting businesses in the mainland." Xu Yuge, a Taiwanese youth living and working in the mainland, said that Taiwanese youth should share their stories and strive to build a bridge for cross Strait integration. "Taiwan calls peanuts potatoes. The first time I saw fried potato shreds on the menu of a Chinese restaurant, I was shocked." Xu Yuge said that there are some differences in daily language and living habits between the two sides, which has brought some obstacles to cross-strait exchanges. She believes that Taiwanese youth should participate more in the creation of short videos popular on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, spread what they have seen, heard and felt in the mainland in a way that young people in the island can understand, reduce misunderstanding and promote exchanges.

At the "Qiongtai Young Entrepreneur Salon", many young Taiwanese shared their experience of entrepreneurship in the agricultural field, which made Li Jie, a young Hainan man returning home to start his own business, feel like he has found a bosom friend. "Hainan is a very suitable area for developing efficient agriculture with tropical characteristics, which is very similar to Taiwan." There are more than 300 Taiwan enterprises engaged in agricultural production in Hainan. Taiwanese entrepreneurs are good at empowering agriculture through culture and tourism, and have great experience in building a complete agricultural industry chain. Li Jie believes that these characteristics of Taiwan's enterprises are particularly consistent with Hainan's industrial policy of developing "characteristic farms" and increasing the deep processing of agricultural products. "Qiongtai agricultural cooperation has a good foundation, broad space and huge potential, and more young Taiwanese entrepreneurs are welcome to Hainan to start businesses.". (End)
