On May 7, www.taiwan.com.cn, comprehensive Taiwan media reported that Taiwan's tourism department, in order to market Taiwan tourism in the mainland, operates accounts on social media such as microblog and WeChat. This year, it plans to open accounts on Xiaohongshu. Xu Qiaoxin, the representative of the Kuomintang, criticized Taiwan's tourism department for "fighting against China and protecting Taiwan" while promoting its desire to make money in the mainland.
Xu Qiaoxin held a press conference with Ye Yuanzhi, the representative of the Communist Party of China, and Ling Tao, a member of Taoyuan City, on the 6th. She pointed out that the bid amount of "2024 Taiwan Tourism Community Media Commissioned Operation" of Taiwan's tourism department was up to NT $1.45 million, with the purpose of commissioning the operation of microblog, WeChat and small red books. She said that the DPP authorities have always told everyone that WeChat and Little Red Books are dangerous. The DPP's Democratic Representative's Taiwan legislature has asked for the ban of Little Red Books. Now the DPP authorities have opened a bid to ask someone to help with the business, which is very surprising.
Xu Qiaoxin questioned that the content of the bid mentioned the need to enrich social media, including microblog, WeChat and Little Red Book, to increase the mainland's attention to Taiwan's tourism market. Now, whether Taiwan and the mainland have opened up tourism? The front foot scolded the Kuomintang People's Representative for visiting the mainland, and the rear foot began to prepare for cross-strait tourism, taking and scolding again. Have you ever seen such authorities?
Xu Qiaoxin believes that Taiwan's tourism department has violated the DPP's tone of "fighting against China and safeguarding Taiwan" by operating microblogs, WeChat and small red books. She stressed that the DPP authorities had told everyone in the past that public officials could not use microblogs, WeChat and small red books because they were against the so-called "security". She satirizes the DPP authorities, while "fighting against China and Taiwan", she also propagandizes that she wants to earn money from the mainland.
Ye Yuanzhi mentioned that Fu Jianzhi brought more than ten KMT representatives to the mainland for exchanges and achieved considerable results. Many DPP representatives scoffed at this and said they could not rely on others. As a result, the DPP authorities spent money on marketing Taiwan tourism in the mainland, which was very confusing. Ling Tao stressed that the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) said it was "fighting against China and protecting Taiwan", but it made a lot of money in life, and it reappeared the nature of a "double standard party".
Previously, in response to the Democratic Progressive Party's Democratic Representative's claim that the mainland conducted "cognitive warfare" against Taiwan through social software such as Tiao Yin and Little Red Book, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People's Republic of China said that the Democratic Progressive Party's authorities, out of the private interests of one party, deliberately blocked and disrupted cross-strait civil exchanges. In the final analysis, they feared that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits would get closer and better, and that Taiwanese people would understand the real situation on the mainland. They use the so-called "cognitive warfare" to hoodwink the Taiwan people and create an "information cocoon room" as a cover for inciting hostility, hatred and confrontation, which ultimately damages the development space and interests of the Taiwan people, especially Taiwan's youth.
