A new council and leading group were elected at the meeting. 22 members were elected as members of the new council. Gan Qian, the chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Movement and a relative of Huangpu students, was elected as the president of the new Huangpu Military Academy Alumni Association.
