On May 13, a delegation led by Chen Suorung, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, visited Yiyang City on May 11.

Chen Suorung and his party successively visited Weizhiyuan, Qingxi Village, Xiangtai Youth (Yiyang) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, Tianyimuguo, and exchanged calligraphy in the Chinese Contemporary Writers' Signature Edition Book Collection, meeting friends with pen, conveying feelings with ink, promoting cross Strait cultural integration, and promoting the spiritual harmony of the same people.

It is reported that in recent years, the economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Yiwu and Taiwan have been deepening, showing a rapid development trend. So far, there are 20 Taiwan funded enterprises in Yiyang City.

Chen Suorung expressed heartfelt thanks to Yiyang Taiwanese businessmen for their constant care and support over the years. She believes that the exchanges between the grassroots and the people on both sides of the Straits are the vitality and driving force of the development of cross Straits relations. We should encourage and support all walks of life on both sides of the Straits to expand and deepen exchanges. She hopes that young friends from the mainland can visit Taiwan more often, so that they can get closer and closer to each other.
