Zhao Mingzheng, Vice Mayor of Fuzhou, revealed that the current Fair will be held in Fuzhou from May 16 to 19.
Zhao Mingzheng introduced that at present, all preparatory work is in progress in an orderly manner, and many breakthroughs have been achieved. As of May 7, more than 430 important Taiwan guests had confirmed their participation, including more than 300 guests from the island and Mazu. It is expected that the total number of Taiwanese participants will exceed 1000, a record high in the history of the Fair. At the same time, more than 50 important industrial and commercial organizations, such as Taiwan Commercial Association, Electricity Association, Taichung, Kinmen, Mazu Grassroots Business Association, confirmed their participation.
Zhao Mingzheng pointed out that this session of the Fair focused on accelerating the construction of cross-strait integration development demonstration areas, and carried out the planning and design of "5+3+N" activities with the theme of "deepening cross-strait integration and building the first home".
"5" refers to the "five main activities": the opening ceremony of the 26th Cross Strait Economic and Trade Fair and the Cross Strait Exchange and Sharing Meeting, the cooperation and exchange activities of the cross-strait chambers of commerce in 2024, the docking exchange meeting for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Fuzhou Municipal Taiwan Association, the seventh Fuma Consultation Chamber of Commerce, and the 2024 Merchants Conference.
"3" refers to "three supporting theme exchange platforms": a central theme achievement release area, a cross-strait integration development achievement release and industrial cooperation promotion area, and a regional cooperation and industrial cooperation promotion area.
During the Fair, Fuzhou held "N" investment promotion and industry docking activities at the same time.
At that time, there will be many projects signed and docked at the 2024 cross-strait chamber of commerce cooperation and exchange activities and the 2024 investment conference.
