Popular science textbook "Taiwan Issue I Know" was published in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

On May 6, www.taiwan.com.cn, the popular science textbook "Taiwan Issues I Know", organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Ulanchap Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, was officially published.

The book firmly implements the overall strategy of the Party to solve the Taiwan issue in the new era and the decision and deployment of the Party Central Committee on Taiwan related education, closely focuses on the main line of building a strong sense of the Chinese national community, and covers Taiwan's human history, natural geography, customs, culture, education, science, technology and agriculture, as well as cross-strait exchanges and exchanges, Educate and guide the majority of young people in the region to better understand, understand and love Taiwan, understand the historical fact that both sides belong to one China, firmly believe that the reunification of the motherland is an inevitable trend of historical development, and enhance the sense of historical responsibility and mission to promote the peaceful reunification of the motherland.

The book adopts the form of question and answer. It compiles six major Taiwan related knowledge into 45 small questions with pictures and texts. It uses the question setting method of "Do you know...?" to create a face-to-face communication situation with young readers and stimulate young people's interest in understanding Taiwan.

At present, the book is mainly targeted at primary and secondary school students in Ulanqab City. The first batch of 5000 copies are printed and published, which are distributed free of charge in more than 90 schools in four counties and districts of Ulanqab City.
