Taiwan compatriots in Huli, Xiamen, visiting the history of travel and study in the west, "new" to promote integration

On April 29, www.taiwan.com.cn, a few days ago, more than 20 Taiwan compatriots traveled more than 1600 kilometers west from Huli, Xiamen, to Chongqing to study and visit the history of the Anti Japanese War, the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage and the achievements of the Western Development.

Taiwan youth with entrepreneurship and employment, Taiwan CPPCC members, Taiwan businessmen and Taiwan professionals, and assistant directors of Taiwan community who participated in the "Huli Taiwan compatriots' trip to the west" visited and investigated Nanshan Anti Japanese War Heritage Museum, Chongqing cross-strait youth innovation bases, National University Science Park, Western Science City (Chongqing Hi tech Zone) Western Science City Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Center, Bishan Digital Economy Industrial Park, Bishan Xiuhu Ecological Zone, Wanling Ancient Town, Rongchang High tech Zone Planning Exhibition Hall, Chongqing Western Electronic Circuit Industrial Park and key automobile supporting enterprises, and carried out economic, trade and cultural exchanges with local Taiwan offices, Taiwanese businessmen, business people, etc. in Chongqing.

Sun Zhicheng, the person in charge of Taiwan and youth in the MCN Three Innovation Base in Haixi, said that under the organization of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Huli District Committee, Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan youth further learned about the rapid changes in the western part of the motherland through understanding Chongqing, and hoped that more Taiwan compatriots could participate in the construction of the western part of the motherland and share the prosperity of the motherland.

Liu Jiannan, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipality, said that he hoped that Chongqing could carry out "Taiwan style" mountain sea cooperation with Xiamen, strengthen economic and trade cooperation, forge ahead, take responsibility, and work hard for a long time to write a new chapter in the western development in the new era and new journey.

The persons in charge of Taiwan in Nan'an District, Jiangbei District, Shapingba District, Jiulongpo District, Bishan District and Rongchang District who participated in this activity expressed their hope to give full play to the unique advantages of the integration of Xiamen's two sides and the advantages of the bridgehead of Chongqing's western development, attract more and more Taiwan compatriots to come to Xiamen first, and then to Chongqing for employment and entrepreneurship, and further form a new pattern of high-quality development with great protection and opening up.

Li Zonglin, the representative of Taiwan businessmen, said that when he first came to Chongqing, a heroic city, he was deeply shocked by its unique landscape and rich historical heritage. He hoped to make his own brand of biotechnology products bigger and stronger as soon as possible, combined with the advantages of Chongqing's western development center, and make his own contribution to the common development of Chongqing and Taiwan's economy across the Taiwan Straits.

The National Conditions Seminar for Taiwan Talents is a national education brand activity launched by the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Office of the Huli District Committee of Xiamen last year. Fang Xuming, director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Huli District Party Committee, said that he hoped that Taiwan compatriots could combine "learning, playing and using" to "learn" Chongqing's economic and technological development. While "playing", they could also share their experiences in Chongqing with Taiwan compatriots and "use" their experience in Chongqing to promote entrepreneurship and employment.
