On April 26, www.taiwan.com.cn, recently, the construction site of Jinan Nature New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nature New Materials) expansion project with an annual output of 8000 tons of special acetate fiber was in full swing. It is understood that this project, as one of the "2024 municipal key construction projects" in Jinan, with a total investment of 600 million yuan and an area of 104 mu, is located in the cross Strait new and old kinetic energy conversion industrial cooperation zone in Jiyang District. Since the start of construction at the end of 2023, the project construction has progressed smoothly, and the main body has been capped at the end of March. At present, it has entered the stage of equipment installation, and is expected to be put into operation in the third quarter of this year.

Wang Chong'an, senior commissioner of the company, said that the company's acetate fiber products were in short supply in the market at present, so the company decided to invest 100 million dollars to expand the production scale. It is reported that after the project is completed and put into operation, the increment of 8000 tons of special acetate fiber will greatly meet the demand of market orders.

Nature New Materials is a Taiwan funded enterprise that has settled in Jinan for nearly 30 years. Today, it has grown from a small nylon factory to one of the five largest cellulose factories in the world. While expanding itself through hard work, Nature New Materials has also witnessed the remarkable achievements made in the economic development of the mainland. In recent years, with the strong support of Jinan municipal governments at all levels and relevant departments, natural new materials firmly seized the opportunity of the construction of the cross-strait new and old kinetic energy conversion industrial cooperation zone, increased investment for three consecutive times in two years, and the production scale continued to expand.

Wang Kezhang, the chairman of the company, said in an interview that as the first batch of Taiwanese businessmen to invest and develop in the country, the company has fully enjoyed the benefits of Taiwan preferential policies. Not only that, Wang Kezhang also took the initiative to play the role of "matchmaker" and actively introduced Quancheng to friends in the island, so that more and more Taiwanese businessmen have a strong interest in this land. He believed that Shandong would become an important area for Taiwanese businessmen to lay out their business in the mainland in the future. He also hoped that more Taiwan funded enterprises would settle in Jinan and achieve greater development in the cross-strait industrial cooperation zone for the transformation of new and old drivers.
