On April 26, www.taiwan.com.cn, recently, Chen Shixiong, doctoral supervisor and aerospace scientist of Taiwan Chenggong University, successfully signed a contract with Cai Xiaodong, executive director of Hubei Electric Eagle Technology Co., Ltd. in Tian Changlin Center (Optics Valley), marking the deep cooperation between Dr. Chen Shixiong and Electric Eagle Technology in the field of heavy load tunnel UAV and electric manned UAV (eVTOL) technology, We will help Optics Valley UAV industry make breakthroughs in manned and high-altitude rescue, cargo transportation, fire fighting, high-altitude operations and other fields, and promote high-quality development of low altitude economy.
Dr. Chen Shixiong said that Optics Valley is a hot spot for scientific and technological innovation and talent growth, and will take this cooperation as an opportunity to lead the team to open up a diversified application scenario of low altitude economy in Optics Valley.
Dr. Chen Shixiong has been engaged in the design of space liquid fuel rockets and missile engines in NASA for many years. He has studied from master's degree to doctor's degree in Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Purdue University and other well-known universities, and has been deeply engaged in aerospace and other related fields.
Hubei Electric Eagle Technology Co., Ltd., founded in Wuhan Optical Valley in 2014, is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the R&D, production, application services and skills training of medium and large AI UAVs. The main technical team graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Three members of the core team were selected as "Wuhan Optics Valley 3551 Talents".
