On April 25, www.taiwan.com.cn, recently, the 2024 Chengdu Taiwan Youth Policy Exchange Conference and Taiwan Enterprise Spring Reception were successfully held in Pidu District, Chengdu. Nearly 40 representatives of Taiwan and Taiwan businessmen from Chengdu gathered together to exchange the implementation of Chengdu Taiwan youth policy, and look forward to the bright vision of Taiwan and Taiwan businessmen in Sichuan for development in Chengdu. Yuan Ming, deputy director of the Sichuan Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, Fu Jun, director of the Chengdu Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, and heads of relevant units attended the event.
Yuan Ming said that the system of Sichuan's service desk workers is gradually expanding, and their entrepreneurial activities will be more abundant. Sichuan Taiwan exchanges will make better achievements in science and technology, economy, industry, youth and other aspects. It is hoped that Taiwanese youth will actively share their own experience with compatriots on the island, lead more Taiwanese compatriots to come to Sichuan, Chengdu and Pidu, and make contributions to the integration and development of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits.
Fu Jun said that to constantly strengthen the youth exchanges between Chengdu and Taiwan is to contribute to the youth exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, and to add youth strength to the peaceful development of cross Straits relations. The Taiwan Affairs Office of Chengdu will make greater efforts to create conditions, build platforms, and provide opportunities for Taiwanese youth in Chengdu, help more and more Taiwanese youth to achieve and gain achievements, and make Chengdu's dream of achievement a consensus among Taiwanese. It is hoped that Taiwan and Qingdao compatriots in Chengdu will accelerate the pace of cross-strait integration, actively participate in the youth exchange and communication activities in Chengdu and Taiwan, and make good friends and partners working together.
At the meeting, the relevant principals of Chengdu Talent Development Promotion Center, centering on the talent housing project of building talent apartments, talent stations and preferential housing purchase in Chengdu, the talent evaluation system of "talent based on post and talent based on technology" in major fields such as scientific and technological entrepreneurship, technical skills, education and health, culture and sports, and rural revitalization, the talent plan of Chengdu Drift, the talent plan of Chengdu Jingcai The talent development guarantee policies in three aspects, including the industrial circle building and talent strengthening plan, are comprehensively and carefully introduced. With the theme of "Science and Technology Innovation Highland and Splendid Pidu", the relevant person in charge of Pidu Investment Promotion Bureau introduced in detail the industrial layout of "One Center, Two Corridors and Three Areas" built by Pidu District relying on electronic information, green hydrogen energy, film and television cultural innovation, high-tech, food and beverage, modern agriculture, etc., and sincerely invited Taiwanese friends to actively participate in the economic construction of Pidu.
Guo Hongyang, the general manager of the Yatai Qinghai Gorge Youth Pioneer Park, takes the entrepreneurial process of "building a platform for Taiwanese youth to come to Sichuan for entrepreneurship and employment" as the main line, connecting many true stories of the provincial, municipal, district Taiwan offices and relevant departments helping the park and enterprises settled in the park to solve difficulties in life and entrepreneurship, and vividly sketching a warm picture of the provincial, urban and municipal departments at all levels caring for Taiwan compatriots. He said that from 2024, the park and its enterprises will implement the plan of "Taiwan Students' Summer Internship in Bashi Station" to provide internships for Taiwanese youth, help them come to the mainland to Sichuan to experience life in Chengdu, and truly feel the great changes of the motherland.
