On April 25, www.taiwan.com.cn, yesterday, the Nantai Jigong cultural exchange activity jointly organized by Guangfeng Temple in Nan'an City, the Taoist Jigong Cultural Alliance on both sides of Taiwan and the Zhejiang Tiantai Mountain Jigong Cultural Exchange Association was held in Luodong Town, Nan'an City, with more than 30 people from both sides of the Taiwan Straits participating.

Guangfeng Temple, located at the southern foot of Daqi Mountain, Luodong Town, Nan'an City, was founded in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1000 years. Daoji Lecture Hall in the temple is dedicated to Jigong. Jigong, formerly known as Li Xiuyuan, is the prototype of the legendary "Living Buddha Jigong" since the Southern Song Dynasty, and is a member of Yongning Village, Tiantai. When he was a teenager, he studied in Ruixia Cave in Chicheng Mountain in the north of the village. Influenced by Buddhism and Taoism, he went to Guoqing Temple to worship Fakong Yiben as a teacher. Later, he visited Daoqing in Zhiyuan Temple and Daojing in Guanyin Temple. Finally, he went to Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou. Under the door of the eminent monk Huiyuan, he received the precepts and was named "Daoji". In his life, Ji Gong helped the needy, loved to fight against injustice, and often solved difficulties. He left behind the spirit of "compassion, benevolence, altruism, punishing evil and promoting good, and helping the world through morality", which was widely recognized by the general public, and became a spiritual bond connecting Chinese people at home and abroad and an important bridge to promote cross-strait civil exchanges.

In the Daoji Lecture Hall, believers on both sides of the Taiwan Straits placed flowers, fragrant fruits on the table, shared the compassion, benevolence and wisdom of Jigong, and lined up to bow before the statue of Jigong, praying for the peaceful development of both sides of the Taiwan Straits and good weather. The atmosphere was grand and warm.

At the symposium, Taiwan's Cross Strait Taoist Jigong Cultural Alliance, Zhejiang Tiantai Mountain Jigong Cultural Exchange Association and Nan'an City played the role of a cross-strait exchange base, promoting compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits to jointly carry forward Jigong culture, Zheng Chenggong culture and other excellent Chinese cultures, and strengthening the common spiritual wealth and blood ties of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, The two regions have conducted in-depth exchanges in terms of promoting people to people exchanges and integration.
