Fuzhou Binhai Express Line trains adopt city wide A-type trains with relatively larger body size. The whole train is composed of four cars, with a length of 95.8 meters, a maximum width of 3.09 meters, a maximum height of 3.54 meters, and a basic length of 22 meters for a single car. The exterior design takes the theme of "Smiling Fuzhou Mountain and Sea and Blessing", the round front shape matches the classic smiling face ribbon of Fuzhou Metro, which is very friendly; The black curved window belt on both sides, embedded with the undulating "blue sea and blue sky" painting ribbon, not only integrates the geomorphic features of Fuzhou's "three mountains and one water", but also shows the flying state of vehicles. The interior color of the train is mainly white, matched with the line color of "blue sea and blue sky", echoing the exterior color, and also adopts the larger and wider blue sky and white clouds middle roof lighting.

For example, in terms of the riding environment, it is the first time to adopt a horizontal and vertical integrated seat arrangement in the passenger compartment, set up a large luggage compartment for passengers at the end of each carriage for the first time, and use a 28 inch 16:3 LCD on Fuzhou urban rail trains for the first time television Screen; In terms of intelligence, it can monitor the train operation data and fault information in real time, realize the integration of digitalization, intelligence and traditional operation, maintenance and overhaul modes, and build a health management system that comprehensively supports the whole life cycle of vehicles; In terms of weight, by optimizing the car body structure and adopting new phenolic composite floor materials, the whole train will lose nearly 11 tons of weight, greatly reducing the energy consumption of the vehicle. It is estimated that each train can save about 3.56 million kilowatt hours of electricity in its full life cycle (30 years).
It is understood that Fuzhou Binhai Express starts from Fuzhou Railway Station and ends at Changle International Airport, connecting the old urban area of Fuzhou and the core area of Binhai New Town. It is a rapid rail transit corridor for Fuzhou's strategic development of "going east and south, and going sea along the river". Up to now, the main structures of 15 stations along the line have been capped, 8 viaducts have been constructed, and 14 double tracks have been completed in 17 shield sections. It is expected that the whole line will be completed by the end of August this year. The whole line is expected to be opened for initial operation before the end of 2025.
