"Haiwa, after so many years, we finally found you!" Recently, Mr. Lin, who had been abducted for 34 years, met his mother and brother at the Mawei District Public Security Bureau, and his family hugged and cried.
"My son was abducted when he was three and a half years old..." Ms. Lin, from Guang'an, Sichuan, sobbed as she recalled the process of his abduction. It is reported that she has two sons in total, and the youngest son is Haiwa. One day in May 1989, Haiwa was playing near her home as usual. A few minutes after Ms. Lin entered the house, the child disappeared.
After the loss of her youngest son, Ms. Lin's family never gave up looking for him. "After her brother was abducted, we went to Yunnan, Henan, Guizhou, Guangdong and other places to work, and we can find where to work." Mr. Wang, Ms. Lin's eldest son, said about her experience of looking for relatives over the years.
Abducted Sanming Mr. Lin has never forgotten his relatives. "Sometimes when I have conflicts with my playmates, I will be laughed at for being picked up. Therefore, I always want to find my own parents," Mr. Lin said.
Last November, Mr. Lin, who worked in Mawei, came to the Mawei District Public Security Bureau to look for relatives through the strength of the police. After receiving the alarm, Mawei police immediately collected the blood sample information for warehousing and comparison. In December of that year, after comparison, the blood samples of Mr. Lin and Ms. Lin in Guang'an City, Sichuan Province were highly consistent, but since Ms. Lin's husband had passed away, the results of single parent comparison could not be determined.
"When we learned about the situation, we immediately contacted the local police in Sichuan, found Mr. Lin's brother and conducted DNA comparison, and finally determined that Ms. Lin was Mr. Lin's biological mother," said Yang Chengwei, a police officer.
After learning the news of finding her brother, Ms. Lin and Mr. Wang drove to Guang'an, Sichuan overnight Fuzhou 。
"I don't want to eat and sleep until the child is found!" Ms. Lin said tearfully. At the scene, she excitedly took the hand of the police and repeatedly thanked them: "Really very grateful! A thousand or ten thousand words of thanks can not express our family's gratitude." Then, the mother and son sent a banner to the criminal investigation team of the Mawei District Public Security Bureau, which was printed with "Caring for the people to remove their worries".
What should I do if I find my child lost in life? Fuzhou police suggested that the child should report to the police as soon as he lost. When calling the police, it is necessary to explain the time and place of the loss, the clothes, name, gender, height, physical characteristics, special body marks and contact information of the missing children, and to seek help from the media and release information through the network platform. When a suspected abducted child is found, the police should be alerted without being found. It is better to remember the appearance characteristics of the suspected person, such as clothing and height, at the first time, and explain the location when giving an alarm. If circumstances permit, photos can be taken for evidence, but personal safety must be ensured.
The police said that parents of missing and abducted children, suspected abductees and people of unknown origin can go to the local public security organ for free blood collection if they want to find their relatives. The Ministry of Public Security has established a national "DNA system for combating kidnapping". The public security organs will carry out investigation, research and judgment, and technical comparison to help separated children reunite with their relatives.
