Announcement on Publicly Soliciting Opinions on Abolishing the Administrative Regulations of Suzhou Municipality on Sports Business Activities

Since the implementation of the Regulations of Suzhou on the Administration of Sports Business Activities (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) on January 1, 2007, it has been the implementation of the Sports Law of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Sports Law ）It played an important role in strengthening the supervision and management of sports business activities, standardizing sports business activities, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and operators. However, with the vigorous development of the sports market in our city, together with the construction of the rule of law government and the administrative approval system Reform of "decentralization, regulation and service" The superposition of multiple policy effects has put forward new and higher requirements for the management of sports business activities. Many contents of the Regulations have not adapted to the current new business forms and models of sports business activities in our city. In recent years, with the gradual improvement of the sports legal system, especially the main basis for the formulation of the Regulations in June 2022 Sports Law of the People's Republic of China Major amendments have been made and the Regulations have been promulgated and implemented again. Some of the contents of the Regulations are inconsistent with the upper law, most of which have been covered by the upper law, and the main contents have been stipulated in other relevant laws and regulations.

According to the legislative plan of the Standing Committee of Suzhou Municipal People's Congress, the Regulations of Suzhou on the Management of Sports Business Activities was included in the items to be cleared and abolished in 2024. We are now soliciting opinions from the whole society.
