China news agency, Chengdu, June 15 (Reporter Yue Yitong): "China is a big country, and this land is always full of opportunities." Recently, Tuo Yaoxiao, the EU ambassador to China, said in an interview with China news agency reporters in Chengdu that he was optimistic about the huge cooperation potential between the EU and China, and "we must further release this potential".
The European Union and member states' diplomatic missions to China visited Chengdu, Sichuan Province from 12th to 15th. The delegation members include 17 ambassadors to China, including the EU ambassador to China, the Belgian ambassador to China, and the French ambassador to China.
Tuo Yaoyao told reporters that the EU and China have long carried out good cooperation and dialogue in various fields, especially in addressing global challenges such as climate change and biodiversity conservation. "We (the EU) are very satisfied with such cooperation."
He pointed out that the EU is working hard to establish a constructive and positive relationship with China. Although there are different systems and competition, the two sides have always maintained a good partnership. "We work together and conduct dialogue. Without China and the EU, no global problem can be solved."
It is understood that there are more than 300 European enterprises in Chengdu. Tuo Yaoyao, who visited Chengdu for the first time, said that the EU attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation and exchanges with western China. "The cooperation between the EU and China involves the whole of China, so it is very meaningful to visit all parts of China."
Tuo Yaoyao looks forward to exploring more cooperation opportunities during his visit to Chengdu. In his view, Chengdu is a modern metropolis in western China. The fruitful results and broad prospects of the EU Chengdu economic and trade cooperation are the epitome of the deepening cooperation and exchanges between the EU and China.
