Ball valve with valve position display - signal ball valve
Model: HQ411F-16P
Alternative name: Back to sensor ball valve with limit switch Ball valve Manual ball valve with limit switch Back to sensor ball valve with travel switch Ball valve
Overview of ball valve with valve position display:
The ball valve with valve position display or signal ball valve is a kind of field instrument in the automatic control system to detect the opening and closing status of the valve, which is used to output the opening or closing position of the valve as the signal of the switching value (contact), which is accepted by the program controller or sampled by the computer, and the next procedure is executed after confirmation. The manual ball valve with valve position display can also be used as an important valve interlock protection and remote alarm indication in the automation system.
Operating principle of manual ball valve with limit switch:
The valve position display detects the angular displacement of the valve position, rotates the transmission shaft through the coaxial connector or feedback rod, and makes the cam touch the microswitch, thus making the contact of the switch assembly close or open, transmits the switching signal to the outside through the wiring terminal, and displays it locally through the indicator.
Main technical indicators of signal ball valve:
Protection grade |
Exd Ⅱ BT4 (flameproof) IP67 |
contact rating |
6A/24VDC (DC), 10A/220VAC (AC) |
The micro switch |
Mechanical, inductive, proximity |
ambient temperature |
-35℃~+70℃ |
Wiring port |
2-G1/2″ |
Position indication |
On yellow, off red |
Installation and use of ball valve with travel switch:
1. Move the valve to the off position and adjust the red cam so that the "off" switch has a signal output.
2. Move the valve to the open position, adjust the yellow cam, and make the "open" switch have signal output.
3. Move the valve back and forth several times to ensure that the limit switch signal is reliable.
Precautions for ball valve with limit switch:
The cover must be opened after the power is cut off.
The outer diameter of the flameproof lead-in cable sheath is Φ 7~8mm. Tighten the compression nut to make the inner diameter of the sealing ring hold the cable sheath tightly.
Unused cable entries must be blocked.
When installing, using and maintaining explosion-proof limit switches, users must comply with GB50058-92 Code for Design of Electric Installations in Fire Hazard Environments and GB3836.15-2000 explosion-proof standard.
