Overview of gas emergency shut-off valve:

The emergency cut-off valve is installed in the gas pipeline. When the gas leakage occurs in the pipeline or gas equipment and the indoor concentration reaches a certain level, the alarm receives the gas concentration signal, the host sends power to the cut-off valve coil, and the valve quickly closes to cut off the gas source and enters the self-locking state to prevent accidents and achieve the purpose of safety protection.

Installation of emergency shut-off valve:

The specific installation position of emergency shut-off valve shall be determined according to the specific conditions of different gas pipelines. However, the following principles should be followed:

1. The emergency shut-off valve shall be installed behind the shut-off valve. The emergency shut-off valve shall meet the requirements of the following specifications: General Rules for Safety Technology of Gas Burning Appliances (GB16914-1997) and Code for Construction and Acceptance of Automatic Fire Alarm System (GB50166-92).

2. The emergency shut-off valve must be installed horizontally with the upper valve body upward.

3. The emergency shut-off valve shall be installed at a position convenient for repair and maintenance. Ensure convenient connection with combustible gas alarm. Professional personnel shall install the emergency shut-off valve with special tools.

4. After the installation of the emergency shut-off valve is completed, the installation personnel shall use a special leak detector or soapy water to check whether there is air leakage at the connection between the emergency shut-off valve and the gas pipeline, so as to ensure safe delivery for use.

Use and maintenance of emergency shut-off valve:

1. Open the upper cover after installing the emergency shut-off valve according to the above instructions. Pull up the manual reset handle. Keep the emergency shut-off valve open. After the upper cover is covered, the emergency shut-off valve can be put into use normally.

2. The emergency shut-off valve is an important device to ensure your safe use of gas. The emergency shut-off valve shall be checked and tested regularly (every 6 months) from the date of the first test by the user. The method is as follows:

① Open the upper cover, press the handle on the top of the emergency cut-off valve, and then pull it up several times to make the emergency cut-off valve open.

② Use soapy water to conduct brush leakage test on the whole emergency shut-off valve. If there is no bubble, it means that the emergency shut-off valve works normally. After the cover is closed, the emergency shut-off valve can be put into use normally.

③ If bubbles are found in the emergency shut-off valve during the brushing process, the following methods should be used:

A、 Close the gas pipeline inlet stop valve immediately.

B、 Open the door and window for ventilation.

C、 Do not turn on or off the switch of electrical products.

D、 Do not pull the power plug of electrical products out of the socket.

E、 Do not use telephones, including mobile communication devices, on site.

F、 Keep away from the site in time and report for repair by public telephone or mobile phone.
