Description of emergency shut-off valve of ammonia station:
The emergency shut-off valve of the ammonia station is also called the emergency shut-off valve for the station. It is a pneumatic shut-off valve with a normally closed structure. It is installed on the pipeline at the bottom of the liquid ammonia storage tank and connected with the unloading crane arm of the liquid ammonia. The tank car shall be parked at the designated position, and the hand brake shall be used to brake and stop the engine. The wheels should be heightened≥ 150mm fixed plate or cover wood shall be covered to prevent sliding. After the tank car is normal, connect the liquid phase and gas phase of the tank car with the liquid phase pipe and gas phase pipe of the unloading crane wall according to the unloading requirements, open the emergency shut-off valve on the unloading liquid phase pipe, the root valve on the ammonia unloading tank, and the outlet valve of the liquid ammonia pump in turn, and the liquid ammonia will naturally flow into the ammonia unloading tank under the pressure difference between the tank car and the ammonia unloading tank.

During unloading, the operator must wear labor protection and protective equipment, and confirm the capacity of the ammonia unloading tank through the level gauge to prevent overloading. After the unloading of liquid ammonia, stop the liquid ammonia pump first, close the liquid phase valve of the tank car, the unloading crane wall liquid phase valve, the root valve of the ammonia unloading tank, the gas phase root valve of the ammonia unloading tank, the unloading crane wall gas phase valve, and the gas phase valve of the tank car in turn, and close the emergency cut-off valve. After unloading liquid ammonia, comprehensively check all valves and instruments, and confirm that there is no abnormality. Only after the connecting pipeline has been disconnected and handled, can the liquid ammonia tanker be commanded to leave.

During unloading, the tank car must be turned off. During unloading, it is strictly prohibited to adjust the oil, electricity, lines and maintenance and inspection of the car. Vehicle drivers and unloading supervisors shall not leave the site, and other vehicles shall not approach.

In case of the following conditions during unloading, the tank car must stop loading and unloading immediately and handle them properly: thunderstorm weather, nearby fire, liquid ammonia leakage, abnormal liquid ammonia pressure, and no unloading at night.
