Overview of wafer butterfly valve:
D371X-16 soft seal wafer type turbine butterfly valve is simple in structure, small in size, light in weight, and composed of only a few parts. The valve can be quickly opened and closed only by rotating 90 °, which is simple to operate. At the same time, the valve has good fluid control characteristics. The turbine wafer butterfly valve is designed with a single eccentric structure, which is different from the neutral line soft seal. After the butterfly plate rotates about 20 degrees, the valve seat and the seal ring quickly separate, thus reducing friction. Use stud bolts to connect the valve between the two pipe flanges, and use bolts to connect the flanges on both ends of the valve to the pipe flanges.
When the D371X-16 turbine soft seal butterfly valve is in the fully open position, the thickness of the butterfly plate is the resistance when the medium flows through the valve body, so the pressure drop generated by the valve is very small, so it has good flow control characteristics. The sealing specific pressure is generated by the elasticity of the valve seat or valve plate when the valve plate squeezes the valve seat when the valve is closed.
