Vacuum sucker is usually made of rubber material and metal framework. In the industry, designers can divide suction cups into flat suction cups, elliptical suction cups, corrugated suction cups and special-shaped suction cups according to their shapes. Among them, the corrugated sucker is subdivided into two layers of corrugated sucker, three layers of corrugated sucker and multi-layer corrugated sucker. The commonly used vacuum sucker materials include the following four points:

　　 1. Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)

The vacuum sucker of this material has excellent toughness, working temperature of 120 ℃, good wear resistance, poor aging resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and water resistance. It is the most widely used vacuum sucker material in the industry at present;

2. Polyurethane rubber (U)

Good toughness, working temperature 60 ℃, good wear resistance, good aging resistance, good oil resistance, poor acid and alkali resistance and water resistance. All the above are applicable to conveying common workpieces such as hard shell paper and plywood. The vacuum sucker made of polyurethane is durable;

3. Fluoroelastomer (FKM)

Toughness is not as good as the first two, but the use temperature can be as high as 250 ℃. In addition to poor alkaline resistance, other functions are excellent and can be used for drug transfer;

4. Silicone rubber (S)

Ideal toughness, working temperature 200 ℃, poor wear resistance, good aging resistance, poor oil resistance, poor acid and alkali resistance, and good water resistance. It is suitable for conveying semiconductor components, thin workpieces, metal forming products and food. The vacuum sucker made of silicone rubber is very suitable for products with rough surface.
