2021 is a milestone year in the history of both the Communist Party of China and the Chinese nation. The Communist Party of China ushered in its centennial birthday. The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China adopted the third historical resolution of the Communist Party of China, and the first centennial goal was successfully achieved. The goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way in the land of China has solved the problem of absolute poverty historically, and started a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way and marching towards the second centennial goal.
This year, in the face of the complex and severe international situation and the arduous task of domestic reform, development and stability, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China united and led the people of all ethnic groups to calmly cope with the century's changes and century's epidemic situation, took new steps to build a new development pattern, made new achievements in high-quality development, accelerated the growth of national strategic scientific and technological strength, and effectively guaranteed people's livelihood, The construction of ecological civilization continued to advance, the flood control and disaster relief and post disaster recovery and reconstruction work was strong and powerful, the modernization of national defense and the military accelerated, the people's democracy continued to develop throughout the process, the learning and education of the party history achieved remarkable results, and the Party was comprehensively and strictly governed. China's economic development and epidemic prevention and control maintained a leading position in the world to achieve The 14th Five Year Plan has made a good start.
This year, we continued to push forward the comprehensive deepening of reform The 50 key reform tasks and 61 other reform tasks have been basically completed. The relevant departments of the central and state organs have also completed 105 reform tasks, and 216 reform plans have been issued in all aspects. The goal of making the system more mature and more stereotyped in all aspects has been achieved by the time our Party is founded one hundred years ago.
This year, we insisted The principle of "one country, two systems", the fundamental principles of "patriot governing Hong Kong" and "patriot governing Macao", support Hong Kong and Macao's economic development, improve people's livelihood, support and promote Hong Kong's transformation from chaos to governance, return to the right track, and maintain Macao's prosperity and stability. We adhere to the one China principle and the 1992 Consensus, strengthen the momentum of combating "independence" and promoting reunification, vigorously respond to external challenges, and promote the peaceful development of cross-strait relations. We uphold the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, advocate genuine multilateralism, solidly promote the Belt and Road Initiative, fulfill our commitment to make vaccines a global public product, vigorously safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, and make positive contributions to promoting world peace and development!
