[Host] Zhao Jizundi is an allusion to Chinese traditional culture, which was collected in Zuo Zhuan and other books. This story tells the story of Zhao Dun, an important official of the State of Zhao.
[Teacher Wang] In this allusion, Zhao Dun, that is, Zhao Xuanzi, Ying was surnamed Zhao, Dun, posthumous title " Publicity " At that time, people respectfully called him Zhao Meng or Xuan Meng. In the middle and early Spring and Autumn Period, he was a senior official of the State of Jin, the son of Zhao Fai, and an outstanding politician and strategic commander. After Duke Wen of Jin, the first powerful minister in the State of Jin, who combined military and political power, was in power, known as Zhengqing, and ruled the State of Jin by law. During his reign in the State of Jin, he lost power to the government and the country, which made the monarchical power of the State of Jin suffer and weaken for the first time, established the power of the Zhao family, and made the Zhao family dominate the State of Jin. He served three dynasties all his life and maintained the hegemony created by Duke Wen of Jin.

[Teacher Wang] Zhao Chen, Zhao Chengzi. The Ying surname, the Zhao surname, has a name of decline, and the word Ziyu. One name is Ziyu, and the posthumous title is " Seasonal " 。 Also called Mencius Yu. Ancestors of the monarch of Zhao. He is one of the five sages who helped Duke Wen of Jin dominate. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhao Su, a senior official of Duke Wen of Jin in the State of Jin and a descendant of his Cepheid, was the general of Duke Xian of Jin and fought against Huo for him. Zhao Su gave birth to Zhao Gongmeng, and Zhao Gongmeng gave birth to Zhao Fa.

[Teacher Wang] The allusion tells that during the Zhou Dynasty, when Zhao Fai and Chonger, the Duke of Jin who had not yet become the king, escaped from the country, they once married a wife named Shuwei (Yin Wei) and gave birth to Zhao Dun. After returning home, the Duke of Wen of the Jin Dynasty married Zhao Ji, his daughter, to Zhao Chen. After the distinguished Zhao Ji persuaded Zhao Chen to take back Shu Wei's mother and son, Zhao Ji let talented Zhao Dun be her legitimate son, and her three sons lived under her, leaving Shu Wei as the main house and herself as his concubine.
[Host] Zhao Ji is very tolerant and has extraordinary bearing.
[Teacher Wang] Yes, it's like this. Ji Wei's sister married Zhao Chen's uncle at the same time. At the beginning, people didn't take her seriously. Diren didn't take the initiative to send her back. Fortunately, Zhao Chen's wife Zhao Ji —— Zhao declined back to the State of Jin and married the daughter of Duke Wen of Jin —— He insisted that his husband take back his ex-wife, mother and son. If not, their mother and son would probably stay in the State of Di all the time. In this way, Zhao Dun might not come to the State of Jin, so the history of the State of Jin and the later State of Zhao might also be rewritten.
[Host] At this time, Zhao Shou probably forgot about his previous escape from the state of Di, and when he mentioned his wife, he seemed to be separated from the world, but his newly married princess reminded him of such a thing. Zhao Chen was busy with his business and didn't want to make a move. At first, he refused to leave.
[Teacher Wang] Zhao Ji's attitude towards her husband “ Be favored and forget the old ” 、 “ be fond of the new and tired of the old ” She was very dissatisfied with her behavior and asked: “ How can you make people go against it! ”, thus “ I must welcome Di's wife ” 。 Zhao Fai was also an outstanding man at that time, and a gentleman with a good reputation. In particular, his three times of humility in awarding rewards after Jin Wenjian was appreciated by everyone.
[Host] But in this case, he did not perform very well.
[Teacher Wang] However, in that era, such a situation was not uncommon. If it were not for the contrast of Zhao Ji around him, people would almost ignore this. Finally, Zhao Fai respected the princess's opinion and took back Zhao Dun's mother and son from the State of Di. After they returned to Jin, they were warmly welcomed and treated by the princess. In particular, Zhao Dun, a child growing up in the state of Di, was loved and recognized by Zhao Ji. She said to Zhao Chen: “ Take the shield as the talent, firmly invite the public, think of the legitimate son, and make his three sons under him; Take Shuwei as his wife, and take him personally. ”
[Host] Zhao Ji's behavior was deliberately exaggerated by historians. In the historical background at that time, how many wives and concubines were fighting for favor, and how many princes, princes and princes met each other with swords and flesh and blood in order to seize the throne. Doing so in that era was the flash of human nature.
